Payroll Setup > Company Setup > Bargaining Councils

Trade unions and employers’ organisations may form bargaining councils, which deal with collective agreements, solve labour disputes, establish various schemes and make proposals on labour policies and laws.

SimplePay helps you to set up your payroll according to the stipulations of the agreement with the bargaining council.

To set up an employer contribution to a Bargaining Council go to Settings > Custom Items and add a Benefit. Select the Bargaining Council Item checkbox before saving. Note: There is no need to set up employer contributions to Bargaining Councils for pension or provident funds as the existing system items make the correct provisions already.
