SimplePay has built-in system items to accommodate the special tax and reporting requirements for a phone allowance. Phone allowances are 100% taxable and is reported under code 3713. To add this to the payslip:

• Go to Employees and select the relevant employee.
• Click on Add next to Payslip Inputs.
• Click on Phone Allowance under Allowance.
• Enter the amount of the allowance.
• Click Save.
